As a Full-Time Appointment Scheduler at Minnesota Urology P.A., you will play a crucial role in efficiently and effectively scheduling patients for a range of vital services, including office visits, laboratory tests, and radiology appointments. Serving as the key liaison between patients, clinics, and hospitals, you will ensure seamless communication and coordination, enhancing the overall patient experience. What we're looking for in an Appointment Scheduler To excel as a Full-Time Appointment Scheduler at Minnesota Urology, you will need a solid foundation in both technical and interpersonal skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with a minimum of two years of appointment scheduling experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Proficiency in medical terminology is essential to facilitate effective communication with patients and healthcare providers. Familiarity with insurance processes is preferred, as this knowledge will help you navigate patient inquiries and scheduling efficiently. While experience with current EMR systems is advantageous, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills will be vital in ensuring a smooth and empathetic patient experience in our customer-focused environment. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: High school diploma/GED Minimum two years of appointment scheduling preferably in a medical office environment. Medical terminology knowledge required Experience with insurances preferred. Experience or knowledge of current EMR systems preferred but will train.
