Position Summary

The Federal Project Manager will oversee vertical construction projects for federal clients in the Orlando region, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in full compliance with government standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of federal contracting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of federal vertical construction projects, from pre-construction through closeout.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR , DFARS , and agency-specific requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control plans.
  • Coordinate with government representatives, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Oversee safety compliance in alignment with EM 385-1-1 , OSHA, and project-specific standards.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation, including progress reports and change orders.
  • Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Drive risk management and proactive problem-solving to keep projects on track.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years managing federal vertical construction projects (VA, USACE, NAVFAC preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management , Engineering , or related field.
  • Certifications:
    • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety
    • PMP or equivalent preferred
  • Strong knowledge of federal contracting , quality control , and safety standards .
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
