Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
We are seeking an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a day-shift contract assignment in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The LVN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring continuity of care while supporting residents' medical and daily needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, plan, and implement nursing care under the supervision of an RN
Administer medications and treatments per physician and facility protocols
Provide direct resident care and monitor patient conditions
Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and support staff
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain professionalism and compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
Active California LVN license (must be current)
Minimum 2 years of Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Current BLS certification required
Ability to pass a nursing medical competency test
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Basic computer proficiency
BLS/BCLS required
Additional certifications may be required or preferred per assignment guidelines
Bilingual skills not required
