As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) you will assist the Occupational Therapists to help patients regain functional independence. \nResponsibilites
\nPerforms treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist, and document treatments in the medical record.
\nSupervise the direct patient care activities of the Rehab Aids
\nCoordinate patient care with members of other departments and staff within the Rehab Services Department.
\nParticipates in resident care conferences, Restorative Team meetings, and Interdisciplinary Team meetings as appropriate.
\nParticipates in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility.
\nQualifications
\nGraduate of an approved OTA program
\nCurrent OTA license
\nLong term care experience preferred.
