Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our dynamic team. The Order Picker will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that all items are picked, packed, and labeled according to company standards. This role is crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the overall efficiency of our warehouse operations.


Responsibilities

• Accurately pick orders from shelves based on customer requests and packing slips.
• Verify the quality and quantity of items selected to ensure accuracy.
• Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
• Label packages correctly with shipping information and tracking numbers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks safely (if certified).

Skills

• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order picking and packing.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
• Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Basic math skills for counting and verifying inventory quantities.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and move items throughout the shift.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plus.
• Team player with good communication skills to work collaboratively with colleagues.
