Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Lake Placid, FL is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive support to students throughout the academic year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work within a vibrant educational community, delivering essential speech and language services to enhance student communication skills and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for K-12 students to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress and facilitate inclusive learning environments
• Maintain accurate documentation and data collection in compliance with school policies and licensing requirements
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience working as an SLP in a school setting with K-12 students
• Strong knowledge of speech and language development, assessment, and intervention strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students and educational teams
• Flexibility and professionalism to manage caseload and adapt to the evolving needs of the school community

Location: Lake Placid, FL

Duration: Contract position for the current school year (CSY)
