Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located in Naples, FL, this contract-based role serves students in K-12 settings across two elementary schools, providing crucial social work and intervention therapy support. This position is ideal for licensed social workers or mental health professionals adept at delivering individual and group counseling within educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based mental health counseling and interventions to identified students.
• Implement verbal de-escalation strategies during crises using adolescent and child-focused techniques such as TEACH.
• Prepare and maintain relevant sections of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including data collection and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate closely with classroom teams, including teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers, to support student wellbeing.
• Manage caseload itinerantly between two schools, adapting to diverse student needs throughout the contract term.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.
• Florida Department of Education certification in social work, or licensure as a clinical social worker or mental health provider as defined by Chapter 491, F.S.
• Minimum two years experience working with children and families, conducting psychosocial and behavioral assessments with evidence-based therapeutic planning.
• Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to function effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Not open to candidates holding psychologist licensure.

Assignment Details:

• Start date: January 5, 2026
• End date: May 29, 2026
• Hours: 35 hours per week (7 hours daily)
• Location: On-site at two elementary schools in Naples, FL (Sabal Palm Elementary and Bear Creek Elementary)
• Itinerant position serving students across assigned schools
