Pay rate: Market/Flexible We are looking for an experienced SharePoint Consultant who can take on the dual role of Solutions and Technical Architect. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint architecture, development, and consulting, with the ability to design and implement robust SharePoint solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities: - Solution Design: Analyze business requirements and design SharePoint solutions that align with organizational goals
- Architecture: Develop and maintain the overall SharePoint architecture, including site structure, security, and governance
- Implementation: Lead the implementation of SharePoint infrastructure and solutions, including custom development, configuration, and integration with other systems
- Development: Create and maintain SharePoint sites, subsites, libraries, lists, views, and workflows
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform system maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the SharePoint systems are secure, and data integrity is maintained
- Consulting: Provide expert advice and guidance on SharePoint best practices, including user adoption, governance, and information architecture
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, including business users, IT teams, and external vendors, to ensure successful project delivery
- Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users to ensure effective use of SharePoint
- Upgrades and Migrations: Plan and execute SharePoint upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of SharePoint solutions, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and user guides
- User Support: Train and support end-users to ensure effective use of SharePoint
- Best Practices: Conduct research and provide guidance on SharePoint best practices
Experience & Skills: - In-depth knowledge of SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and SharePoint Online.
- Proficiency in SharePoint development using SPFx, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PowerShell.
- Experience with SharePoint migration tools and techniques.
- Strong understanding of SharePoint governance, security, and compliance.
- Familiarity with Office 365 and related technologies
- Experience with other Microsoft technologies such as Power Platform, and Teams
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools
- Preferred Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Server Hybrid; Microsoft Certified: Power Platform + Dynamics 365 Developer Associate
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Certification in SharePoint or related technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of the retail domain and its specific requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Excellent organizational and time management skills
