• Location: Austin, TX 78704 – Central Texas healthcare hub with renowned food, arts, and green spaces\n
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1360 - $1460\n
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract\n
• Start Date: December 1, 2025\n
• End Date: March 2, 2026\n
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Schedule: Every other weekend required\n
• Setting: 4 Central Telemetry Unit (32 private rooms)\n
• Dress Code: Navy scrubs\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state\n
• Current CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience\n
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring\n
• Experience with advanced respiratory care, airway management, and oxygen therapy\n
• Familiarity with cardiac drips (non-titrated)\n
• ACLS certification preferred\n
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach\n

\n\nTelemetry RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients in the Telemetry unit\n
• Deliver advanced respiratory care and manage oxygen therapy for cardiac patients\n
• Administer cardiac drips (non-titrated) and coordinate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team\n
• Assist with procedures including stress tests, heart catheterizations, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tube management\n
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR\n
• Float as needed to Medical Surgical, Med Surg Telemetry, and Emergency Department holding areas\n
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment in accordance with Texas nursing standards\n
